Frozen Flower was created as the second single by the Wrocław-based SPLEENN project and as an entry for Poland’s Eurovision 2023 national selection. It was officially released by JM Records on 14 January 2023.
Composer and producer Jacek "Markus" Markuszewski combines emotional English-language vocals with melodic drum & bass, electro-pop and cinematic space. The tension between a fast pulse and a melancholic atmosphere became one of SPLEENN’s defining signatures.
A music video directed by Daniel Le Hai accompanied the release. Frozen Flower attracted attention from Eurovision fans and in 2024 became the closing transmission on the 19-track album Breathe.
