About SPLEENN

SPLEENN was founded in Wrocław by Jacek "Markus" Markuszewski — composer, producer and drummer. The band combines melodic drum and bass with electro-pop, built around emotional vocals, distinctive melodies and the energy of live instruments.

In SPLEENN’s sound, a fast club pulse meets melancholy and cinematic space. Electronics intertwine with drums and song structures, while live performances give the tracks an immediate stage energy. Rhythm and emotion are equally central to the music.

The album “Breathe”, released in 2024, documents this direction. Nineteen tracks and interludes form a journey that combines dynamic songs with more spacious passages. The recordings include “Frozen Flower”, a single submitted to Poland’s Eurovision 2023 national selection.

The music is accompanied by a world inspired by post-apocalyptic cinema: lost transmissions, analogue interference and abandoned technology. This aesthetic connects the videos, live visuals and the band’s identity, telling the story of a signal that survived.
